Mi Limited - Our Technology

Mi Trader is an insurance focused trading system. Built for the web from inception, Mi Trader uses the Microsoft .NET platform with a SQL Server database. It delivers full lifecycle support for the insurance placement and administration processes, including claims processing.

Mi Trader uses flexible data capture, web service and workflow capabilities coupled with a configurable rating engine and document generator. Using these components, the platform fully supports the process of quoting, placing and administering insurance across multiple channels and participants with full support for white labelling.

The use of Mi Trader Studio, the Mi Trader product builder application, allows new products to be created without the use of hand-written bespoke code by either Mi product builder employees or by the client themselves.

Instances of Mi Trader can range from a web-service-based calculation component used by a third-party platform to a full lifecycle web-based policy and claim placing and administration platform. However, for the more common scenarios, a number of predefined frameworks have been created. These allow easy and quick creation of new client platforms.
